Anna McDonagh Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist, Health Educator.
Anna has been in the health industry for over 30 years and comes from the Land of the Long White Cloud, New Zealand where she was a Registered Dental Therapist for many years. Life changes and spiritual searches took her down many roads, across oceans to Puerto Rico and encountered a number of changes in careers to arrive at this current destination.
She is a Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist, Coach, Facilitator, Health Educator and Massage Therapist registered with Australian Clinical Hypnotherapy Association ( ASCH 1356N) and Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA 10298).
Anna believes if people have the “how to” in knowledge and the “how to “in self-care, then they are empowered and resourceful to take responsibility for their own health, creating personal power and freedom in their life.
Having been the massage industry for over 17 years Anna is passionate about the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™ as one of the most effective massage therapies she has been trained in as it offers so many possibilities to be able to correct numerous conditions and after all, the abdomen is the engine room of health which is so often neglected.
Also Anne is trained in Chi Nei Tsang which is another abdominal massage which is derived from the Taoist Monks in Ancient China and was used in ancient times as a spiritual practice.Chi Nei Tsang is a healing massage that eases digestion and eliminate toxins and creates a free flow of chi or energy in the body.
For recreation Anna enjoys walking the banks of the Cooks River, Sydney and practices Qigong in the local parks.
